Lisa Van Laarhoven, (but as my dutch husband insists that after 8 years of marriage I still cannot pronounce it properly, I would not expect anyone else to have to try).

Birthdate:
In Britain on 26th January 1968.

Luxembourg:
Been living in Luxembourg for 7 years and am mother to 2 year old Lola and stepmother to 11 year old Vera.

School & Jobs:
Convent of Notre Dame in Cobham, Surrey (say no more).
Studied German and Drama at London University and the Central School of Speech and Drama and then somehow became a Money Broker for 10 years working in London, Switzerland, Paris and finally Luxembourg.

Radio Career:
It was in Luxembourg that I first started working in radio. I was taught the ropes by ex Radio Luxembourg DJs Dave Christian and Mike Knight; who were working at Sunshine Radio. From there I moved to Radio ARA, a local Luxembourg radio station where I host the English speaking Corner Café.


Dislikes:
Washing salad in a salad spinner (or anything else for that matter), cleaning, dead mice that the cat brings in and bad service.

Likes:
The fact that now when I tell people I work on the radio in Luxembourg and they ask me if I work for Radio Luxembourg I will be able to answer with a loud yes!
